Student Travel Grants are available for a limited number of students and young scientists planning to attend the 2016 Ocean Sciences Meeting. Applications closed 9 October 2015 and are no longer being accepted.
General Student Travel Grant: All students who have submitted abstracts and are presenting at the meeting may apply, but preference will be given to students from races, countries, and genders which are underrepresented in the sciences.
General Early Career Scientist Travel Grant: All early career scientists (within 10 years of their highest degree earned) who have submitted abstracts and are presenting at the meeting may apply, but preference will be given to applicants from races, countries, and genders which are underrepresented in the sciences.
Lloyd V. Berkner Travel Fellowship: Early career scientists and students under 35 years of age who are residents of countries designated by the World Bank as “low” or “lower-middle” income per capita. To see a full listing of Berkner eligible countries, please click here.
