Current role in the field of ocean sciences: Civil Servant

Area(s) of expertise within ocean sciences: I am a marine geologist by training with expertise in the fields of marine sedimentology, sediment dynamics and seafloor mapping. Currently, I am mainly involved in benthic habitat mapping, but have also carried out work relating to human activities (dredging and fishing) and their impact in relation to sediment dynamics.

Interest in becoming a mentor: I know how it is being the first time at such a large meeting. It’s easy to get lost. I’d like to provide some help and guidance to those experiencing the Ocean Sciences Meeting for the first time.
