If you received your name badge in the mail, don’t forget to bring it with you! You will hand in your Badge Holder Redemption Ticket at the registration area to receive your meeting materials. Attendees must register and wear their conference badge while attending all Ocean Sciences Meeting functions. Registration for the 2016 Ocean Sciences Meeting includes all general and breakout sessions; communication, educational outreach, and career workshops; access to nonticketed events; daily refreshment breaks; and access to all presentations.

Registration Rates for Attendees from Tier 1 and 2 Countries
Discounted registration rates are available to attendees from countries classified by the World Bank as low-income (Tier 1) and lower-middle-income (Tier 2) economies. These income classifications are updated each year on 1 July. Please refer to the World Bank’s website for information on their classification system and for the latest list of Tier 1 and 2 countries. Note: Attendees must currently reside in a low-income or lower-middle-income country in order to be eligible to receive the registration rate.
By 31 December, registered attendees may purchase guest passes at $75 USD each. From 1 January through 20 February, guest passes are $100 USD. After 20 February, guest passes are $125 USD. A guest is a spouse, friend, or adult child (18 years old and older) who is not working in a geophysical sciences-related occupation or field. A colleague or associate working in a related geophysical sciences field or studying geophysics in school may not be registered and attend as a guest. Registered guests may not attend the scientific sessions; however, they may visit the Exhibit Hall, attend the Opening Reception, and all keynote lectures. Guests may purchase tickets to social events at the advertised rates.
Written notification must be emailed. Registration cancellations received by 20 January 2016 will receive a complete refund. Cancellations received between 20 January and 27 January 2016 will have a $50 USD processing fee deducted from their refund. No refunds will be issued for canceled registrations or ticketed events after 27 January 2016.
Child care services are available during the week of the meeting. Organizers have teamed up with ACCENT to bring Camp OSM. Register by 12 February to ensure that your little one has fun during the meeting!
